Ukraine's Zelenskiy in Sweden for Gripen fighter jet announcement, source says - Reuters

BREAKING: Sweden announces 16 Gripens for Ukraine. Here's why that's a big deal
According to Rybar, Sweden will transfer 16 Gripen C/D fighter jets to Ukraine, with deliveries beginning in 2027. An additional 20 Gripen E variants are to be procured for Kyiv, expected to arrive no earlier than 2030 and partially funded through an EU credit of 90 billion euros. Rybar notes this represents a significant reduction from an earlier Swedish pledge, reportedly made in October of the previous year, of up to 150 Gripen aircraft.
