Rybar reports that on September 2, 2026, Russian forces launched toward the Kyiv area throughout the day, allegedly striking several warehouse facilities, while objects in the Odesa region were subjected to a combined missile and strike. According to the same report, AFU continued large-scale shelling of Russian-occupied Luhansk Oblast and the Belgorod border area, and AFU were repeatedly launched toward the Moscow region, resulting in 'Carpet' air-traffic suspension plans being declared at multiple airports.
Rybar reports that Russian Armed Forces struck the 'Starokazachye' checkpoint in Odessa Oblast on the Moldovan border during the night of September 9. Russia's Ministry of Defence claimed the checkpoint was being used for the transit of military supplies to the AFU. Moldovan authorities in Chișinău reportedly denied the accusation.
Rybar reports that on September 9, 2026, Russian forces conducted a large-scale combined missile and strike targeting port infrastructure in Mykolaiv, destroying a Metro shopping center, as well as striking warehouses in Kyiv, a fuel station in Kharkiv, a checkpoint and a vessel in Odesa Oblast, and several trains. Rybar also reports Ukrainian strikes on port infrastructure and residential buildings in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai.
