Rybar reports that between 08:00 and 20:00 on September 1, 2026, Russian air defense systems claimed to have destroyed 109 Ukrainian fixed-wing over Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, and Oryol oblasts, the Moscow region, Crimea, and the Black Sea. An additional four were reportedly intercepted approaching Moscow in the evening, with airspace restrictions subsequently imposed at Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports.
